Connor Stevens is a 2026 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School.

While at Vanderbilt, Connor served as a Research Assistant to Professor Michael Vandenbergh, Co-Director of the Energy, Environment and Land Use Program. He also served as Executive Student Writing Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law.

Connor was awarded the Grace Wilson Sims Prize for Excellence in Student Writing in Transnational Law, presented annually to the graduating student who authors the best Note submitted for publication in the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law.

Connor was also selected as a George Barrett Social Justice Fellow for the Vanderbilt Law School Class of 2026. The Barrett Social Justice Fellowship honors the legacy of renowned Nashville civil rights attorney George "The Citizen" Barrett '57 by enabling a Vanderbilt Law graduate to carry out a one-year public interest project under the supervision and sponsorship of a host organization. Vanderbilt University Law School provides the funding to enable the Fellowship. As a Barrett Fellow, Connor will work with the Harpeth Conservancy to develop a multidimensional strategy for reducing PFAS and lead contamination in the waters of Middle Tennessee. His work will focus on identifying and addressing the disproportionate impacts these contaminants have on underserved communities. The Harpeth Conservancy is a science-based conservation organization dedicated to restoring and protecting clean water and healthy ecosystems throughout Tennessee.
