Derrick Nguyen
Case Assistant

Derrick Nguyen is a member of the Stevens LC team, where he supports the firm's consumer protection practice through legal research, case development, and investigative analysis. He brings a strong scientific background and a meticulous approach to evaluating evidence, identifying patterns, and assisting with complex consumer matters.

Derrick earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine. During his studies, he conducted research in the Guan Lab at UC Irvine, where he contributed to the development of renewable processing methods for thermoplastics as part of the laboratory's work in dynamic soft materials and polymer science. Derrick also served as a Laboratory Technician in the Wilson Lab at Pomona College, where he maintained vivarium facilities and collected and analyzed behavioral research data. These experiences strengthened his analytical reasoning, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

At Stevens LC, Derrick applies his research and investigative skills to support the firm's efforts to protect consumers and hold companies accountable for unlawful business practices. He is committed to helping advance the firm's mission of securing meaningful results for consumers through diligent case development and advocacy.
